Welcome to subscribe @Raymond2021 Hok Tau is located in the valley between Ping Feng Shan, Kowloon Hang Shan and Pat Sin Ling. It is adjacent to Lau Shui Heung Irrigation Reservoir and Sha Lo Tung. In 1968, the government built an oxbow-shaped irrigation reservoir in the area with a capacity of 180,000 cubic meters. Hok Tau is the source of Tan shan River . There is little human interference here, so the many streams that are shaded by woods and flow into the reservoirs can retain Hong Kong’s native species. The valley constructed with pine trees, fruit trees, and feng shui forests breeds a variety of characteristic insects and reptiles, including the rare gray butterfly in Hong Kong. . The bottom of the stream is dominated by boulders, and the slow flow and stream grass support a variety of stream shrimps, bright-colored gobies, and Hong Kong betta fish. You can also observe the interesting steps of the Hong Kong snail newt walking on land. Under the starry sky, various frogs sing and noisy in search of mates, the nocturnal tiger wakes up and lurks to hunt, and the flashing light of fireflies adds romance to the rivers and streams. I am glad that you participated in this episode. I don’t know which animals dance. What's most memorable to you? Welcome to subscribe @Raymond2021
